Day 1

Depart Kathmandu after breakfast and travel through scenic river valleys and rolling hills to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check into your jungle resort and enjoy a welcome drink. In the evening, take a short walk around the nearby Tharu village and experience a colorful Tharu cultural dance performance that showcases the traditions of the local community.

Spend the day exploring the diverse ecosystems of Chitwan National Park. Begin with a peaceful canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you may spot gharial crocodiles and a variety of birdlife. Continue with a guided jungle walk before embarking on an exciting jeep safari through grasslands and forests in search of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, wild elephants, deer, sloth bears, and numerous bird species.

Start the morning with a guided bird-watching excursion, as Chitwan National Park is home to more than 500 species of birds. After breakfast, bid farewell to Chitwan and begin the scenic drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Tribhuvan International Airport, depending on your travel schedule.
